Hi! I’m Ceri, a 22 year old potter based in Perth, Scotland (not Perth, Australia (sadly)).

I run a wee pottery shop and am still trying to work out the balance of running the shop, teaching, doing markets, fulfilling wholesale orders, selling online and having time to actually sleep sometimes.

My pottery journey has been rather unusual and impulsive (as are most things I do in life…). It started in March of 2021 when (after many many months of binge-watching pottery videos on YouTube and The Great Pottery Throwdown) I impulsively bought a pottery wheel. Little did I know this was the start of my biggest hyper fixation ever… being self-taught (apparently the University of Youtube isn’t officially recognised) allowed me the freedom to pot however and whenever I wanted ( it did also help that my first “studio” was in the spare room of my tiny flat). Three years on I feel so privileged to have dropped out of uni (I do miss you tho Architecture) and be playing with mud full time.
